Description

FAQs

How does the Filtrare coffee maker work?
Place a paper filter inside, add freshly ground coffee, then slowly pour hot water over the grounds. The coffee passes through the filter and flows directly into your carafe.

What filters should I use?
For the best fit, we recommend the Filtrare Filters. They’re square, pre-folded, and available in packs of 30, with one-time purchase and subscription options.

Filtrare brewers also work with a variety of alternatives, including reusable filters and appropriately sized Chemex and Hario paper filters. As a general guide, a filter marked as compatible with Chemex should work well.

For paper filters, we recommend a thicker style that holds its shape during brewing. We don’t recommend thin Melitta-style filters, as they may weaken or tear during the pour.

How do I clean it?
Rinse thoroughly with warm water after each use. For deeper cleaning, use a mild dish soap and a soft sponge. A round bottle brush, similar to those used for baby bottles, works well for cleaning the inside of the coffee maker. For the spout or pour channel, a narrow straw cleaning brush can help reach smaller areas.

Is it suitable for someone new to pour-over coffee?
Absolutely. The pour-over method is simple to learn and easy to make your own.

Form Meets Function

  • One-Piece Brewer

Shaped as a cohesive, one-piece form that brings clarity to your coffee routine.

With no separate dripper or extra components, it’s a simple, sculptural tool that stays ready on the counter and feels effortless to use.

  • Enhanced Pour

A traditional spout guides a smooth, steady stream, while the generous handle gives a secure, comfortable grip. Less wobble, better control, and a safer pour—even when it’s hot or full.

  • Comfortable Handle

This pour over coffee maker is designed for a comfortable, secure hold, so you can pour from the handle.

A more natural grip, better control, and a safer, steadier pour, especially when the brewer is hot or full.

  • Handmade in North America

Designed in Canada and handmade in Chicago, each brewer is cast, trimmed, and glazed by hand.

The brushwork creates soft variations in tone and texture, giving each brewer its own quiet character.
